Yet never to short to seek the Lord. There is a balance to life so that nothing is all encompassing, but God's purposes can be found in the balance as well. God is not hiding from you, He may just be waiting patiently for you and you're not seeing Him yet. Be aware that faith will have to come into play and try to figure out at what point you'll be ready to make the leap. Praying for you! Life is short, “but a fleeting breath”. I found that although it may be unhealthy to doubt God (sickness coming back) - I think God is not going to remove your doubts if you ask him. I misinterpreted the sickness coming back as a "sign" from God to remove my doubts, whereas it was just a symptom of God's power departing from me. But I found the way out of the dilemma. If there is a little bit of faith in Jesus (and that's all it needs), then it's your turn. You have to cast all your cares on him. You have to declare, decide to believe in him, no matter what your intellect is saying. And because Jesus has said that if you believe in him, you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free: You'll finally become totally convinced that he IS the truth. So it all starts with faith, and it all wavers with doubt. If you want to get out of doubt, you have to start believing. Peace, Reto Hi Mark
